About Us

The Southeast Region area of ARMA covers the area of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Puerto Rico, and Tennessee.

The Region is administered by a leadership team consisting of a Region Manager, two Region Coordinators and a Region Treasurer. The Southeast Region Manager is Alice Young.  The Region Coordinators are Cherise Forbes and Linda Johnson.  The region manager and coordinator positions are held for two year terms..

The region sponsors an annual Leadership Conference which is usually held in June or July, and an Educational Conference that is mostly held every other year with each being held at different locations within the region. The goal of these conferences is to educate members and chapter leaders.

The Southeast Region is comprised of 12 chapters in 4 states and Puerto Rico with over 850 total members.   Florida, with 350 RIM professionals in six chapters, boasts the largest number of members and chapters. The largest chapter is established in Atlanta with over 200 members.  Most of our members are part of a local chapter.  When a chapter is not convenient, a member will be shown as an "at-large" member, but is welcome to join a chapter at any time.
